February 11, 2021:
Hello, Just wanted to share a few new pictures of the boys. We love them so much and our whole "business" is getting along very well. They love to run, dook and play. Everyone is going to see Dr. Sandra next week to get labs and the boys will also get their first set of implants. I hope all is well with you and the shelter. We are keeping you in our prayers.
Best Wishes, Katherine

January 27, 2021:
Hi Brenda! That's funny, I was just thinking about sending an update! I found out right after we left the shelter that our district was switching to all remote for the week. As a result, I have been working from home this week. Though it is not a good thing for the human kids, it worked out great for getting Logan and Parker settled. We spent a couple of days just getting to know the ferret room (they get the biggest room in the house! :D) and the people-then slowly began introducing ferret friends. Everyone has now been introduced and mornings are full of laughter when they all wrestle, chase each other about and play with toys. The boys seem very happy. Logan was making himself at home on day one. Parker, who is a bit more reserved, took a little more time. We have introduced soup into their diet and they ate off the plate today with everyone else for the first time. They love the many tunnels we have and have taken over Baby Burgles cradle full of stuffed "babies." They have filled the house full of joy. I have to guard my toes and socks again! Our one challenge has been where to potty but we are working on it. My oldest taught Logan that the stairs are a great place to poop (he is old and struggles with his bowels so we humor him). As you well know, to a ferret, the toilet is everywhere. Mommy just needs to figure out where to position the training pads!
As far as health, we are waiting to hear about the results of our fecal sample. Just in case, mom has upped her cleaning regimen. As you know, that is all part and parcel of adding new family members. I am hoping to schedule a spring visit in February for the boys to get their first implant and some preliminary bloodwork. I look forward to a bright and happy future with them. Thank you for letting me add these little guys to our family. They have been a blessing and I couldn't be happier. More importantly, I think that they are very happy here as well. Please know that they are being spoiled and loved on every day. I have tried to get some "good" pictures but you know how bouncy they are...These are the best I could do.
