Initial Contact, September 6, 2022:
Good Morning, My name is Justine and I am contacting you today in regards to surrendering my ferrets.. I find myself no longer able to give them the proper care and attention they need and I would love for them to find people who can give them the world as I wish I could. I have 4 little fur babies. one is under a year, two are about a year and a half and my fourth little man is 3 years old (2 boys 2 girls) and I have a lot of things for them including a three tier cage, food, wee wee pads and more I will give with them. I look forward to hearing from your group and possibly adding my little weasels to your sanctuary !
  I am located in Manorville, NY (exit 70 off the expressway) I glanced at it before I emailed you but I will definitely look again! I do have papers and vet records and such I can give to you but I’ll look to make sure I have everything on your required list.

Shelter Response:
You live about 6 1/2 hours South East of us - if vaccine documentation is not up to date we will not accept them. We work on a first come, first serve basis. We have space for them at this time, if you don't keep us informed on your intent, you may lose that space.

Owner Response: I understand completely ! I just had them all at the vet and they got shots I can get a tangible record from them. I am very certain of my decision, just need to gather the papers together. Do I come bring them and their things to you ?

Shelter Response: yes we are a small independent shelter, we don't have the volunteers to travel to pick up surrenders.

Owner Response: Ok I have their records from the vet I just need to print out, when is a good time to bring them.

Shelter Response: Delivery is up to you, you let us know what works and we will let you know if it works for us.

Owner Response: I will bring them September 12, 2022 around noon.
