April 3, 2024:
Gavin didn't eat his soup last night. he is leaving me clear puddles of slime. I checked on Gavin he left a large puddle of black poo. I got him up gave him a Dex shot, as I was tucking him into the bungalow so I could strip his cage he pooed another puddle of black poo. I've tried to give him meds by dropper, he clinched his teeth and pushed away from me. I'm not sure I'm going to save him this time. I laid Chux down in front of the bungalow he is sleeping in, then laid them down in a line to the food and water. If he wants to eat and drink the pads will allow him to walk to the food station.

March 12, 2024:
AM: I found black icky poo in Gavin's poo box. He was up asking to get out, I won't get him up until noon. He did eat some of the soup without med I left for him last night. I gave him a bowl of soup with med this morning; time will tell if he will eat it.
PM: Gavin did finish his soup this morning and this evenings soup. He's back on track.

March 11, 2024:
Gavin refused his soup with meds this morning, I tried dropper feeding him he was not having it.

February 17, 2024:

January 5, 2024:
I found black icky poo in Gavin's box. He did not eat his soup yesterday morning, he did not eat his soup last night. I held him this morning to feed him his soup he refused. I'm sure his BG is way low. I gave him a Dex shot before coming up to have coffee.

November 5, 2023:
I am still feeding Gavin his meds by dropper, however he is finishing the bowl of soup when offered after I get the meds in him.

November 3, 2023:
Gavin has not been finishing his soup, I am now dropper feeding him his meds then he can have the rest of what is in his bowl. He ate what was in his bowl sitting in my lap.

August 26, 2023:

September 5, 2022:
Gavin is back to being crazy Gavin.

September 3, 2022:
When I was serving soup this morning I made a bowl of just soup for Gavin.. I set it in his cage, he put his face in the bowl and went to town. He was easier to get him to like soup than I expected.

September 2, 2022:
Gavin ate his soup out of a bowl tonight, I started dropper feeding him, I offered the bowl he stuck his face in it.

August 31, 2022:
I tested Gavin's blood, the meter read 62, I need to work on getting him to like soup before I have to put him on meds.

Christmas, 2021:

November 6, 2021:
Gavin's nose looks a bit better today, he has decided that soup is a good thing, when I got him up to have his evening soup with abs. he ate a full bowl.

November 6, 2021:
His nose was really red again this morning, I'm wondering if there is something else going on that OFD needs to look at. I'll do the ABS, if things don't get worse then I will assess that option. When I put him away this morning he was alert and responsive. I got Gavin to take his meds by dropper then offered him more soup on a dish, he ate it all. We're gaining ground. PM Update: Gavin ate a full bowl of soup off a dish on his own. His nose looks awful, his teeth look fine, he was alert and responsive.

November 4, 2021:
Gavin's nose is not quite as red as it was this morning. Bob is doing okay. I was lax in teaching Gavin to like soup, so now that I need to give him meds I'm having to dropper feed him. This morning he fought me, I gave him soup only at noon, he didn't fight but would only take 1 dropper. Tonight I gave him meds he took 2 droppers without a fight. I left him a bit in a bowl but I expect it will be there in the morning.
