The Sponsorship Program was started to help the fur kids that will spend the rest of their lives here at the shelter. Each one was either too sick or too old to leave for a permanent home.

Because of the overwhelming response to our sponsorship program, any ferret here in this shelter can have a sponsor. We have several ferrets that have more than one sponsor. We do/will notify the person or persons that want to sponsor a particular ferret whether that ferret is adoptable, and/or has a sponsor already. We always notify the sponsor of any changes in that ferrets progress; adoption, illness, or death with-in 24 hours.

Sponsoring helps pay for daily medication, soup, and/or special needs of the ferret(s).


How To Sponsor A Fur Kid!

You choose the ferret(s) you want to sponsor. You choose how much you want to sponsor the ferret for (whatever you can afford). As we do not have a minimum amount. Payments are done on a monthly bases.

Contact Shelter Mum with this information and she will send you sponsorship coupons with your ferrets name, the amount you have chosen to sponsor the ferret(s) for, and the dates for a year. If you can not continue at some point you just need to let her know.

Coupons are for proof (government tax purposes) that the money is going to the shelter not for making a profit. We send a bio with the coupon book. Each payment made to your ferret will get a Thank you from your ferret(s). We E-mail thank you's mostly, but if you prefer we can do snail mail thank you's as well.
