Mr. Gizmo has a new Forever Home!  November 2008

Mr. Gizmo has Mr. in front of his name to distinguish him from the other little Gizmo we have here at the shelter. Mr. Gizmo was living in Newark, New York with a family that could no longer take care of him.

He is a busy, happy little fuzz Butt!

Update: July 21, 2009

The little guy has crossed the rainbow bridge.  The tumor in his 
abdomen was inoperable, it was attached to most of his organs and 
growing quickly. He went in my arms a few minutes ago. He was a happy, 
playful boy up until this morning.

Update: February 16, 2009

Mr. Gizmo, Jesse, Daisy and the other Dooks of Hazzard are all doing well. I brought snow in for them to dig in and they loved it. Gizmo wasn't sure what to do at first but then he started tunneling and didn't want to come out of the nest he made.

Update: December 1, 2008

Mr Gizmo is doing great. He likes his new cage, he got to be the first one to use the green hammock I bought Saturday. The cage has litter box clips on the side so I put one in just to see if he would use it, so far he's 100% accurate. He doesn't really like to drink water out of the bottle but he loves to drink from the bowl (so he can snorkel). I gave him a cheweasel today, he absolutely went crazy for it! I put it on a hook and hung it in the cage at bed time. I'm all out of cheweasels now so hopefully you'll be able to get some soon since all my kids love them so much.
